Current News • News Archive • July 2005 -- CCI employee named chairman of InfoComm International Dashboard for Controls Committee. Control Concepts Interface Designer, Greg Maderic, began his Chair appointment of the Dashboard for Controls in July of 2005. He succeeds Gregory Bronson of Cornell University who relinquished the Chair position after the InfoComm International trade show in 2005 as he pursues other projects and interests and the announcement that the Dashboard will change focus from the supply to design side. Senior Programmer Ken Danner receives Crestron advanced certification. As part of a continuing education program and dedication to professionalism Senior Programmer Ken Danner has achieved advanced programming certification from Crestron Electronics. “It is the goal of CCI to mature employees by building a solid educational foundation that combines classroom training and hands-on field experience,” states Holly Witzer, Project Coordinator at Control Concepts, “Each engineer is required to achieve and maintain relevant certifications in order to keep current with emerging technology, demonstrate dedication to the trade and achieve a high level of expertise.” (Full Story...)• June 2004 -- Mike Korinko joins the Control Concepts, Inc. programming team. Mike brings with him ten years of experience in many aspects of the audiovisual industry including control system programming, design consulting, technical writing, training, technical support and troubleshooting. Control Concepts Inc. announced they have joined the InfoComm Independent Programmers Council to support the council's efforts to create an open dialog between programmers, consultants, manufacturers, and system integrators. This industry group will contribute to joint solutions that will enable the industry to establish a wide range of “best practices” to improve the quality product for the user community.” (Full Story...)• June 2003 -- Office Manager Holly Witzer appointed to position of Projector Coordinator. In 2003, Holly Witzer was appointed to the position of Project Coordinator for all custom programming projects. Since then, Holly has managed countless projects for a wide variety of clientele. President of Control Concepts, Steve Greenblatt commented; ”as Control Concepts manages more than one hundred programming projects annually, it is necessary to have a dedicated individual as our point person for projects.
