Transports include standard control functions to device specific functions like Quick Skip, Jump, and Thumbs Up, for TiVo™, Graphic Elements supplies a comprehensive library of transport icons and will continue to evolve as new visual metaphors are standardized for audiovisual hardware functions. Keyboard and keypad graphics are supplied for dialing, cable or satellite TV, address book, or other text entry. In some system designs keyboard control is needed for time and date entry, password modification and entry, and preset labeling. The use of these graphics is not limited to text or numeric entry and can also be used for miscellaneous functions as needed. Environmental controls are comprised of functions related to audio/video control, input select, room control, and power. Some examples of standard functions would include: Lighting presets, Motion control for shades, drapes, and screens, Heating, and cooling for HVAC, Input select and power for display devices, Arm, disarm, police, fire, and others for security, Program, speech, and far end control for volume. Source icons include a wide variety of audiovisual hardware, from VCRs and DVDs to computers, auxiliary inputs, and media players for audio distribution. For commercial applications with matrix switching capabilities, destination graphics are also included. General button categories include: Audio, Video, Computer, Auxiliary, Games, and Display Devices. Because some functions are not easily represented with visual metaphors, generic buttons are supplied in a wide variety of shapes and sizes to better customize touch panel designs specific to your applications. These graphics are provided blank so text can easily be added to suit the needs of the system design. Miscellaneous buttons represent a collection of audio and video functions not specific to any one device, but found to be helpful in a variety of system designs. These functions were found by researching IR remotes. Included in this package are color, brightness, focus, iris, flashback, information, and guide to mention a few. And finally... Touchpanel page background graphics are provided in nine sizes and a combination of ten foreground and ten background colors. In addition, the background graphics are offered as a full-page menu structure or individual header and side bar components to be used as system designs dictate. Simply flipping these graphics along the horizontal or vertical axis quadruples your options. |
