Control Concepts, Inc. (CCI) is a leader in the field of audiovisual control system programming and interface design. Combining the elements of information technology, human factors, and advanced programming concepts, our skilled team sets the standard for AMX and Crestron control systems.

CCI was born from desire to provide the highest quality control system programming possible and it is the support of many that has made Control Concepts a success. CCI was founded by Steve Greenblatt in 1997, at a time when independent programming companies were virtually non-existent and control system programming was not as complex and vital as it is today. There were very few resources available for specialty programming and related services; Control Concepts was created to provide a custom programming service that clients could not receive anywhere else.

The beginning of Control Concepts was a humble one. Steve started the company on his own in a small office in Norwood, NJ with only part-time assistance from his family and close friends. As the existence of Control Concepts became known and reputation grew, the client list and number of projects increased. By 2000, projects quantity and responsibilities warranted the need for additional staff and a larger office. Now Control Concepts has a staff of programmers, a dedicated Graphic Designer, and a Project Coordinator that share ideas, contribute to teaching and research, and provide a wide range of custom products and services to satisfy the needs of its customers. Control Concepts continues to rely on the virtues and beliefs that it was originally built upon; this is exhibited everyday by the commitment of its staff.

One of Control Concepts most visible qualities is its devotion to interface design which is based on human factors research. Applying the science of usability was a leading-edge innovation in the early years of independent control system programming that was a large part of Steve’s vision for the company. With a strong and talented team full of passion, energy and the desire to make a big impact on CCI's future business and products, Control Concepts has lead the way with many industry innovations. The CCI group has set high standards for professional services and solid engineering practices, and delivered a great number of key products, many of which are based on CCI research innovations.
